The development history of surgical table in my country

In 1951, the first universal surgical table was successfully trial-produced in Shanghai Medical Instrument Factory.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the side-operated operating table, also known as the hand-operated operating table, was the first operating table to be used. Since all operations are located on the side of the surgical table, there are certain interference and obstacles to the operation.

The 1980s began to manufacture head-operated surgical table, also known as manual hydraulic surgical beds. It is developed on the basis of the side-operated operating table. Compared with the side-operated operating table, it is easy to operate and greatly reduces the impact on the surgical operation.

In the late 1980s, electro-hydraulic surgical beds were manufactured. This type of surgical bed is characterized by easy operation, flexible movements, and basically no interference to surgical operations. It is a mainstream product widely used in operating rooms.
